One of my great friends, John Maddox, has recently picked up film photography as a hobby and we've been talking about going out for some photos for some time. We rode over to Macon's historic Rose Hill Cemetery at sundown to see what we could find. I've been shooting at Rose Hill for YEARS. I can remember during my time at Mercer that the large mausoleums and elaborate gravestones were a young photographer's dream. Tonight, however, I wanted to try a different approach. A lot of these shots are different than what I've done in the past, but I had a blast finding some different textures in not only the man-made monuments, but the natural aspects of the site as well.

John was shooting with a Canon FTb on expired Fuji Astia 100. He's going to process through Indie Film Lab, so I'm really excited to see how it turns out. The light will be absolutely gorgeous on film.
